The Beagle has been one of USA’s most popular breeds for quite some time now. It has managed to stay on the top 10 most popular breeds list, which is done by the American Kennel Club (AKC), for many years. Right now it is located somewhere in the middle of the list around top 4.

There is a number of Beagle facts which explain why they are one of the top dog breeds. Beagles are small to medium sized dogs and have a very great sense of smell. I have found the beagle a very friendly and lovable breed that can live in any home as long as there are people there. After all it isn’t for nothing that they are one of the most loved breeds in the United States.
